Genevieve Marie (De Souza) Farrington

Genevieve Marie (De Souza) Farrington, born and raised in Falmouth, Massachusetts, was a courageous and independent Easterner. She worked as a legal secretary in Boston and San Francisco for over 20 years. She was married to Alan Bruce Farrington, who predeceased her in 1988. They had just moved to the Sonoma Valley, where she remained a longtime resident. She will be remembered by all for her wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile that lit up the room!
Genevieve is survived by sisters Mary Tavares and Margaret DeSouza; brothers Louis and Manuel DeSouza of Massachusetts, and John DeSouza of Clermont, Florida.
Friends are invited to a memorial service at St. Francis of Solano Catholic Church, 469 3rd Street West, Sonoma, CA 95476, on January 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow.
Private inurnment at San Francisco National Cemetery, The Presidio, San Francisco, California.
