Edna May (Brown) Lomheim passed away peacefully at home on September 4, 2017. Edna was born on April 15, 1941 in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada, but very soon after she moved to High River where she was raised by her beloved “Granny”. This is where at the age of six she met the love of her life Gary Lomheim. The childhood sweethearts married at the Canadian Naval Air Station in Shearwater, Nova Scotia on January 30, 1960. Gary eventually joined United Airlines and after several moves through Canada and the U.S. they ultimately settled in Sonoma where they raised their three children; Brian Lomheim, Cathy (Todd) Lanning and Sandra (Mike) Hage. Edna was the cherished grandmother of Nolan, Morgan and Haeli Lomheim; Jordan Lanning and Jessica and Ross Hage. Edna’s family meant the world to her and she loved to spend time with them. One of her favorite things to do was travel with Gary in their Motor Coach and she especially loved the times they spent at their place in Indio. The family is grateful for the love and support of her “Best Friend” and care giver Rosey.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
