I met Muriel when I moved to Napa in 2002 at a DAR meeting. Right from the start I knew I liked this lady. She was always friendly, knowledgeable, and someone who always spoke her mind. She was very devoted to DAR and to our Vineyard Trails Chapter. Her numerous DAR pins portray not only her ancestry, but also her numerous contributions. She will be greatly missed.

Muriel was such a big part of Vineyard Trails-DAR, and I will miss her at our meetings. She was a very busy lady for her age, and never slowed down until very recently. I always admired the work she did for the youth of Sonoma. She will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of carpooling with Muriel in December for the Wreaths Across America event in Yountville and we had a really nice conversation during our car ride. She was funny! I did not know that we had so much in common and I wish that I had joined Eastern Star and DAR much sooner than I did so that I could get to know her better.
