Dear Jean and family:
I remember you all coming from California in the early 1970's, and displacing us as the youngest family in the neighborhood. And, learning that you, Jean, had played with some previous occupants of our house, as a child.
I shall remember your husband/ father's cheerful spirit, (as befitted his name), and his willingness to help with our house renovation. The joint Pearson-Lively Thanksgiving Dinner when the new dining room was at least functional, was a special one!
I was also surprised and touched, once, when he said how much he missed the Old Latin hymns, the O Salutaris and the Tantumt Ergo -- his softer side.
The other side was probably better represented by his sometime occupation as a district attorney.
Sorry you lost him so relatively young, for these days, and hope you are all doing well.
May Eternal Rest be granted unto him, O Lord, and Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in the peace of Christ, Amen.
