Travis Sweeden passed away on February 17th, 2024. He was born October 2, 1986 to Sharon L. Sweeden-Bonnington and Travis O. Wilson. Travis loved music from a very early age. His
mother enlisted the help of her friend to teach Travis the drums and it was love at first sight. From then on, Travis began his first band, playing small events like his sister's 13th birthday.
Travis' love of music excelled throughout the years. He served his community by reaching out to the homeless and those who had an upbringing as he did. He served on the worship team for
Lighthouse Christian Church. Travis was trained as a carpenter and one of his proudest moments was passing the licensing board for his General Contracting license. Travis was an
amazing man, perfect son, best brother, loving husband and incredible uncle. His contagious smile and sense of humor was infectious to everyone. Travis showed the world what a changed
life with Jesus looked like.
Travis is survived by his wife Mary Anne Sweeden, Mother Sharon L. Sweeden-Bonnington (Tim Bonnington), Father Travis O. Wilson (Tracy Wilson), Grandmother and Grandfather Arlene
Sweeden and Gary Sweeden, Uncle Gary Sweeden III, Siblings Sierra Petersen (Dominic Petersen), Julia Bonnington, Rachel Bonnington, Erin Byford, Brianna Wilson, Jacob Wilson (Brandi Wilson), Kelly Llamas (Daniel Llamas) and Danielle Wilson (Ivan Ruvalcaba), and nieces and nephews (Julianna, Timothy, Dominic, River, Micah, Sophia, Isaiah, Amari, Allie, Dakota, Abagail, Jessica and Bentley).
We are celebrating Travis's life on Saturday, March 9th, 11:00 am at Lighthouse Christian Church. 170 Andrieux Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
