Torina Ann Duplantier

October 8, 1957 ~ August 3, 2022 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Torina Duplantier Obituary

Torina was born in San Francisco, CA and was raised in San Mateo County in Daly City San Bruno and South San Francisco. While working on the Peninsula, she lived in Belmont. She attended Parkway Jr. High School, El Camino High School in South San Francisco and attended College of San Mateo and De Anza College in Cupertino.

After dating for a few years, she married Dave Duplantier in May of 1988. They started their life together in San Mateo then lived in Cupertino for 17 years before moving to Sonoma where they lived for the past 16 years.

Torina worked for Bank of America, BP ARCO America before retiring due to health issues after 13 years. She held various positions including Executive Assistant, Real Estate Planning Administrator and Project Manager.  She was also a trainer and fitness instructor for a few years at Continental Lady and another spa in the area prior to her business/professional career.

Torina was a very talented individual.  She very much enjoyed various music and was an accomplished singer.  She was also an artist and created many beautiful drawings from scenery, nature images and individuals she admired and enjoyed. Torina enjoyed cooking, in particular baking delicious creations over the years!  When she and Dave first met, he taught her how to snow ski and they enjoyed many trips to Tahoe ski resorts.

   
She is survived by her husband, David M. Duplantier, Her sisters: Laura (Gary) Loest, Sally Williams, Lydia Criscione, Nieces: Tammie Brown, (great niece Harlie Brewer),  Danielle LaRocca, Nephews: John Criscione, Lance LaRocca, cousin Sandra Navarro (Russ) and numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Angelo Criscione, mother, Lillian Eakin and her grandparents. 

Family and friends will gather at Duggan’s Mortuary in Sonoma for a Rosary on August 17, 2022 at 6PM. There will be a Funeral and mass on Thursday August 18, 2022 at Saint Francis Catholic Church in Sonoma, CA starting at 11AM followed by private burial at a local cemetery. 

 Torina will be deeply missed. Her beautiful smile, warm spirit and heart of gold will be remembered by all who knew her.  Rest in peace.
