Tom was born in Martinez, CA and later moved to San Francisco at an early age. He worked in naval shipyards, co-owned a grocery store in the North Beach section of San Francisco and also sold Mercedes Benz for a substantial period of time.
Through his endeavors, Tom met many amazing people and developed a deep love for cars that carried over into his retirement.
Retiring in Sonoma in 1991, Tom would compete and win numerous collectors car exhibitions and was known by many as someone who just loved his old Fords. He also very much enjoyed the town of Sonoma. Toms other hobbies included - playing golf, traveling and spending time with his wife Rose. Tom passed away peacefully at his home in Sonoma California, at the age of 98.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen, grandson Anthony, and many nieces.
Tom will be missed by everyone. The family request memorial contributions be made to Hospice by the Bay, Sonoma. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safer.
