With sadness, we share that Christopher Anderson, cherished father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2025, in Quinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 60.
Chris was born on April 5, 1965, in Modesto, California, and spent most of his life in Sonoma. Over the years, he wore many hats - working as a computer network engineer at Wine.com, driving a giant haul truck at a quarry, and later running his own handyman business. Of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of being a father to Natalie and Tristan Anderson.
In 2023, Chris began a new chapter and relocated to Oklahoma. There, he found community and built new friendships with genuinely kind people. Riding his Harley with friends and enjoying the freedom of the open road became a favorite pastime.
Chris never met a four legged friend he didn’t love and they loved him right back. His beloved dogs, Dixie and Chowder, were always by his side and remained his loyal companions until the end.
He will be remembered for his warm, welcoming smile, his hearty laugh, and his kindness. Chris was affectionate, smart, creative, and endlessly funny. There wasn’t a subject he didn’t know something about, nothing he couldn’t fix, and he was never afraid to try something new. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, had a soft spot for offbeat movies (preferably with a bowl of ice cream), and enjoyed all kinds of music, especially rock and country. He was full of life, wild at heart, and loved by so many.
Chris is survived by his mother, Kathleen Corbin; his father, Thomas Anderson; his sister, Kate Molesworth, and her husband, Bob; his nephew, Alexander, and niece, Claire. He leaves behind his children, Natalie and Tristan, whom he left far too soon. As they move through life, they will carry his love and memory with them always.
He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends, riding partners, and kindred spirits who stood by him through life’s ups and downs. We are deeply grateful for the impact they had on his life.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held in California at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Chris would want you to rescue a dog, turn up the music, and give the people you love a big, warm hug.
