Our beloved Steven was born November 2, 1962 and Bell CA to Donavon Gilbert Swanton and Jacqueline Joy Cantor. Steven was raised in Sonoma CA with his younger brothers Michael Joy Gilbert and Gregory Donavon Swanton. He attended El Verano grade school, Altimira middle school and Sonoma Valley high school. Steven married Charmaine Sue Stevens. He had 3 children. His daughter Sarah Katherine and sons Mitchell Lloyd and Kyle Donavon. Steven had 4 beautiful grandchildren and one on the way. Hailie, Hannah, Lauren and Adeline. Steven loved his family very much. He was a caring understanding man with a generous heart. Always willing to help anyone when needed. He had a fun loving personality that drew family and friends around him. Steven was an amazingly talented man. When it came to furniture restoration Steven had passion and a vision. He would effortlessly create beautiful pieces of furniture. Some of which had made their way to the De Young Museum in San Francisco. Steven really enjoyed his hobbies. He always found something to tinker with. He loved working on his truck and his youngest sons Chevelle. He also enjoyed fishing and making his own custom lures. Steven liked a good project around the house. Building things with family and friends gave him joy. Steven always had his smooth rock music going in the background. Some of his favorites were Summertime by Mungo Jerry and Moondance by Van Morrison. Stevens final project was from the heart of a loving son. Steven's mother fell ill and was recoving in the hospital. In his own weakened state of health Steven did his best to refurbish his mother's home. Stevens final project out of love truly shows what kind of man he was.

We all love Steven very much. His memory will be carried on in each and everyone of our hearts.

Now Steven you can rest in peace. And please know you will never be forgotten.
