Steven England Obituary

Steven Warren England,77, died peacefully on 9/9/2025. Steve was survived by his wife of 53 years Rae Marie, loving daughters Carolyn England-Judeh and Erin England (George Landry) and devoted granddaughter Fiona England, brother Roger (Margaret) England, sister Susan England, nieces Karin and Jennifer and nephew Scott.

Steve was born in Oakland, CA and attended OHS ‘66. He was in the Navy Reserves in SAR and as sonar operator (HS-85) out of Alameda Naval Air station.

He worked 27 years with Bank of America in various management and consultant capacities including advising international clients on their real estate holdings.

During that time Steve completed his BS and MBA. He was a designated CPM (Certified Property Manager) as well a lifetime member of many other professional organizations such as IEEE.

Steve then followed up with years at Ernst & Young working with major companies to develop Y2K software and advising at US nuclear facilities Rocky Flats, Sandia Labs and Los Alamos. Steve finished his career as Property Manager for the City of Vallejo.

He loved that he was able to travel the world for business and also for pleasure.

Steve was a fan of many outdoor activities especially cycling and skiing. He loved to cook often experimenting with recipes. Woodworking, gardening and fixing things were his downtime activities. Steve was an avid reader especially of history. He adored and cared for various pets shared over many years.

Steve volunteered his time at our local Parish Church events. He spent several years on the board of Music From Bear Valley doing fundraising.

Steve was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012. He informed himself of every aspect and treatments for the slowing the progression of this disease. Steve was an avid supporter of Rock Steady Boxing. He saw difficulties as a challenge to overcome with a smile on his face.

Private internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
