Obituary
Robert W. Koenig, 94, of Sonoma, passed away on Monday December 6, 2021 in Sonoma, California.
Robert W. Koenig was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joseph and Lucille Koenig on October 18, 1927. He went to school at Elder Highschool in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. He worked as a pharmacist who took over the family drug store and then moved to SF and worked as a pharmacist in the hospital. He was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force. He was a devout Catholic and a devout family man with a sense of humor that will be cherished in the memories of all he touched.
Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday December 16, 2021 at St. Francis with Father Rowell Gumalay officiating. A separate service will be held in Robert’s hometown of Cincinnati at St. William’s Church. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. Arrangements are by Duggan’s Mission Chapel of Sonoma, California and Gilligan Funeral Homes of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Robert W. Koenig is survived by loving family in Cincinnati, Ohio.
