Robert Gene Heisterberg

In Loving memory of Robert Gene Heisterberg

On July 2nd, 2024, Robert passed away peacefully in the city of Sonoma, California.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan, his children, Robert, Jon and Christine and his grandchildren Gracyn, Anna, Jon and his brother Richard.

Robert was known to many as a bold thinker and engaging conversationalist. After decades in finance,  he settled comfortably into retirement, where he remained devoted in his interest in World affairs and the closing bell.

Robert was a stalwart supporter of education for his family and his mentee and believed that freedom is gained by learning how to think independently and speak unreservedly. Long nights around the lively dinner table with his family made for endless laughter and the most sacred of memories.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C Heisterberg and Margaret June Thompson. 

Private services will be held in Sonoma in the coming weeks.
