Returned to God on October 15, 2024. Age 96. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. A resident of Glen Ellen for 54 years. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her Catholic faith and her concern for her family and all animals, especially Bailey, Gemma, Nellie and Bruno. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John F. Shine. She is survived by her daughter Frances Shine Weiner and her husband Brian and son John M. Shine and his wife Barbarba Fitzmaurice Shine, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A private Memorial Mass was held with committal at Sonoma Veteran's Cemetery.
