Linda Sammon Ewing peacefully entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Tuesday January 21st 2020 at the age of 76 at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Linda was born in San Francisco, CA on November 14, 1943 and lived her entire life in California. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology from Holy Names University in Oakland, CA and did her Masters work at the University of San Diego. Throughout her professional life, Linda sold residential real estate in San Diego, San Francisco and Sonoma and her passion was in tutoring children to help them learn to read and write more effectively. She was also a swimming and yoga enthusiast and loved to cook and bake for her family over the years.
Linda also loved Sonoma and spent much of her childhood and adult years visiting with her grandparents, parents and extended family in Sonoma before eventually moving permanently to Sonoma. Linda had an amazing resilience and passion for life and was an inspiration to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Linda is survived by her son Christopher Ewing and daughter Jacqueline Sheets and her four grandchildren; Skyler, Olivia, Ava and Savanna. Linda was also married to Grant Denison for 10 years who, sadly, also passed away unexpectedly a day after Linda’s passing. Memorial services have been postponed until further notice.
