June Cordellos

June Cordellos, born June 27, 1924, passed away in Sonoma on June 12, 2021 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her father Dominic, her mother Camille, and her loving husband of 56 years, Lambro.  She is survived by her daughter Linda Griffin (Fred), grandsons Ken Griffin and Jay Griffin (Nikki), great-granddaughter Joni Griffin, and sister-in-law Francis Anderson. June was born in San Francisco where she and Lambro met, were married, and lived until 1956 when they moved to Sonoma. She supported Lambro and his brothers as they opened Sonoma’s first supermarket, The Valley Mart, and operated the family business for 29 years. June loved spending time with her family, going to the movies, and strolling her neighborhood in Sonoma dressed to perfection. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mountain Cemetery, Sonoma.
