Julie De Martini passed peacefully with her family by her side after a long struggle with COPD.
She will be remembered as fun-loving, whose mission in life was to help others and make them happy. Famous for her banana bread, her favorite was baking and giving it all away. Her best-loved holiday was Christmas Eve, fulfilling her desire to be here this year.
In 1995 Julie began a lifelong commitment to a Family and a business… Angelo’s Wine Country Deli and Angelo’s Meats. It was through her leadership and ideas that paved the way to its success to this day. She was a customer service guru and expert. She worked tirelessly promoting Angelo’s and bettering the products and sales. Her smile and laughs welcomed everyone. She made many friends along the way, many return to this day asking about her. Her legacy will live on , reminding us always about hard work, devotion, love of life and family.
Julie leaves behind her son Andrew De Martini and his wife, Selia, her mother, Linda De Martini, brothers Jeff and Davey De Martini, niece Haylee, nephew Sam, and great-niece Brileigh. She also leaves behind her uncles, John (Julia) De Martini, Charlie (Bev) De Martini, her aunt Violet Wheeler, numerous cousins, Andrew's father, Jimmy Higgins, grandmother, Mary Higgins, and her beloved godfather, Andy Tommasi. She was preceded in death by her father, David De Martini.
Her service will be at 11:00 on Friday, Jan 17, at Duggan's Mortuary, 525 West Napa Street. The celebration of her life will immediately follow at the Moose Lodge, 20580 Broadway in Sonoma. Burial will be private.
