Josephine "Josie" Gauci

Josephine "Josie" Gauci passed away at her Sonoma Home on December 14, 2021 with her family surrounding her.  Born in San Francisco, she came to Sonoma 41 years ago, owning and operating Gauci Family Daycare for over 30 years.  Josie's love and devotion to caring for children was her greatest passion.

Beloved wife of 46 years to Joe Gauci of Sonoma.  Adored mother of Joey, Lisa and Megan (Charles) of Sonoma.  Loving grandmother of Emerson, Eddie and Vinnie.  Dear sister of Al, Carmen, Tom and Paul.
 

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Catholic Church, 469 3rd Street West, Sonoma. 

The family prefers memorial contributions in her name be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.  Josie's compassion and enthusiasm for life will be missed by all who knew her.
