Joan was married to Frank Rossetti until his passing in 1972. Early in her career, Joan worked as an x-ray technician and medical transcriptionist for several doctors in Sonoma. She then began working for the Catholic church, first as the parish secretary for St. Francis of Solano and then at the diocese offices in Santa Rosa. At 70 years old, Joan ended her career after 17 years at Hanna Boys Center. Joan was greatly loved by her family and friends and is survived by stepson Larry Rossetti, wife Dawn and their two children and five grandchildren; nieces Regina Webb, Teresa Riley, Neva Forsythe, Cheryl Sutter, Stacey Sutter; nephew, Jerry Riley; and a very large extended family.
Her family is grateful for the loving care Joan received from By the Bay Health and Bella Vista Village II residential living.
