Jane Alice Holmes

Jane Alice Holmes passed away peacefully in her home in Sonoma on December 22nd, 2023, at the age of 91 after a long and varied life.  She was born to Canadian American parents in Flint, Michigan. She met her husband George, and they became sweethearts during High School in San Jose, California. They were married for almost 70 years. They had four children, Stephen, Gail, David, and Patty and four grandchildren, Laurel, Matt, Liam, and Kieran and two great grandchildren, Summer, and Mateo.  Jane and George traveled extensively with their family in the ‘60’s and ‘70 ‘s and lived in two countries in the Middle East. They settled in Sonoma, where they lived for over forty years. Jane had a brilliant mind and was curious about the everything. She loved to read, garden, and sing She loved her family, and they loved her in return.
