Harry (Andy) Andrews, a Sonoma California resident since 1985 died unexpectedly on October 17, 2021 at the age of 84. Andy is survived by his wife Juliette Andrews (ne’e Browne) his children Scott (Angela) Andrews, Donna Morosi, Cindi (Matt) Jones, Michelle (Greg) Broadbent, Grandchildren Paul Wilson, Michael Broadbent, Julianna Broadbent, Shana (Carlos) Paz, Desiree Jones and Amanda Andrews, Great Grandchildren Isaiah Paz, Olivia Paz and Sophia Villeggiante; Predeceased by his grandson, Steven Wilson.
Andy was born in Missouri on October 13, 1937 to John and Edna Mae Andrews, they moved to California in 1940. He joined the Navy as a young man, his father was a commander and swore Andy into service. After his military service, he lived in San Francisco where he worked as a mechanic in a service station. He moved on to owning a series of service stations, moving to Marin County in 1972. In the late 1970s, Andy owned and operated Sonoma Pool Service and Supply, a service for pools and hot tubs. After selling his pool business, he semi-retired and worked for his son Scott at Pacific Rim Auto Repair as the shop bookkeeper.
Andy, a very active man, he was a Pilot (Private) and took local children out in his plane certifying them as Jr. Eagles. He loved to water Ski, Snow Ski and was a certified Scuba Diver. He and his wife (Juliette) loved to travel and had many adventures together with their children and friends and will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Sonoma Sky Park, 21870 8th St E, Sonoma, CA 95476
