Grant Denison Jr., 70, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2020 in his home in Sonoma, California. He was born on June 28th, 1949 in Connecticut to Grant and Florence Denison. He attended Colgate University as an undergraduate before going on to Harvard Business School, graduating with his MBA in 1973. From there, he excelled in the biopharmaceutical business as an executive before becoming a founding member of multiple companies, most notably BioMarin. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, gardening, photography, and writing; producing tomes related to business along with extensive books of poetry. He was married to Linda Ewing for 10 years who sadly passed away just days before he did.
He is survived by his son, Grant Denison III, stepdaughter Jaqueline Sheets, stepson Chris Ewing and many step-grandchildren. Family and friends will be invited to a memorial service to grieve and put Grant to rest, a service which has been indefinitely postponed. His final resting place will be with his parents in Turnbull, Connecticut at Aspetuck cemetery.
