Gerard (Mike) Ruvald passed away in his sleep on July 6, 2022. He was 75 years old. Mike grew up on Nob Hill in San Francisco, and spent time in Hawaii and Montana, eventually settling to raise his family in Sonoma, where he lived for over half his life. He is survived by his children Genevieve (Ruvald) Pinkerton and Ryan Ruvald. He loved his kids and grandkids, his goose family, gardening, playing the guitar, hot rods and coins. But most of all his children and new grandchildren. We will miss his sense of humor, his laugh, and his endless stories. He is no longer in pain and we pray the Lord wraps him in light and love as he rests easy for eternity.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11: 28-30
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 1:00 p.m at DUGGAN'S MISSION CHAPEL, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma, CA 95476
