Frances Morison

Frances Morison, Sonoma California, was born Frances Mary Puchreiter on March 16, 1931, in Crosby, Minnesota. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class and married her high school sweetheart, Percy Morison.  They were married nearly sixty years. They settled in Brookfield, Illinois where she became a business entrepreneur as owner of The Morison Company.

Frances served as the President of the Slovenian Women’s Union – Branch 2 for thirty years, and as a national officer of the organization. She also served as the president of the St. Stephen’s Parish Council in Chicago. Frances is predeceased by loving husband, Percy, her parents, her brother, Charles John Puchreiter, Jr., sister-in-law Dorothy Puchreiter, and brother Joseph. She is survived by her sons Terrance (Brookfield, Il), Michael and wife Susan Rowe Morison (Mill Valley, CA).  She is also survived by her sister Marion Hogquist and brother Roger Puchreiter.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, 11:30 am at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church, 469 Third Street West, Sonoma, CA, 95476. Memorial donations may be made to:
