Eileen M. McKenna

Passed away in Sonoma, CA September 21, 2021.  Born in Chicago, IL, she moved to Sonoma in 1944. She graduated from Sonoma High School in 1949, and San Francisco State College in 1953.  She was a teacher with the Rincon Valley School District at Village School.

She is survived by her siblings, Ann Loftus of Sonoma and John (Suann) McKenna of Sonoma, 18 nieces and nephews as well as numerous grand-nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her parents, Maurice & Annie McKenna, her siblings, James McKenna of Sonoma and Mary Carroll of Kenwood, and her in-laws, Palmyra McKenna of Sonoma, William Carroll of Kenwood and James Loftus of Sonoma.

Age 92 years.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 am at St. Francis Catholic Church, 469 3rd St W, Sonoma.  Visitation will be held at Duggan’s Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma, beginning on Wednesday September 29, 2021 at 4:00 pm with Rosary to be said at 5:30 p.m.    Memorial Contributions in her name may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Sonoma Chapter, 469 3rd St W, Sonoma, CA 95476   Interment at Mountain Cemetery, Sonoma.
