Doris I. Bryon went to be with her Lord on May 28, 2021 in Redding, California.
Born in Fowler Indiana on January 30, 1927. The family moved to California when she finished the 10th grade. A few years later, she met Albert Stockton, married him, and started her family.
Doris worked at Sonoma Developmental Center (SDC) for many years in the laundry, and eventually moved to the procurement office there. After she retired, she enjoyed being a grandma and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Ronald Stockton, daughter Tonya Stockton (Gylfe), and is preceded in death by her first born Michael Stockton and her husband Albert Stockton. She remarried and is preceded in death by her second husband Lee Bryon. She has 9 grandchildren, Tracy Stockton, Michelle Stockton (Cuda), Amanda Stockton (Meyer), Adrian Stockton, Ashley Stockton, Will Walker, Isaac Gylfe, Erin Gylfe, and is preceded in death by her oldest granddaughter Nicole Stockton. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, Carsten, Cameron, Amanda, Rebecca, Madison, Alexis, Colton, Jordan, Jaxon, Beau, Elijah, Trinity, and Silas. She is also survived by two sisters, Cecile Salazar and Brenda Russell and was predeceased by her siblings, Harvey Mohler and Patricia Matthews
Doris knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and had the confidence that being absent from the body meant to be present with the Lord. As she spent more than 25 years developing her church family friendships at Sonoma Christian Fellowship, she loved being in church—singing, praising, and worshiping Jesus! Now the praises in heaven just got louder!
