On Sunday April 2nd 2023, another Angel gained her wings. After a lengthy stay @ UCSF, Donna Marie Luzzi passed away at the age of 71 surrounded her family. Donna was born in New Bedford Massachusetts on October 3rd, 1951 to her parents Shirley and Joaquin. Donna lived in Massachusetts, Georgia, Cincinnati, and Los Angeles before finally settling in Northern California. It was during one of her many trips to Northern California that she met Bill Giarritta, who she would eventually marry, move to Sonoma, and have one son, Christian. Donna and Bill were married for 10 years before they divorced. Donna remained in Sonoma and eventually remarried Richard Luzzi. They remained married until Rich passed away last October. They were truly meant for each other. Two Peas in a pod! Donna was most proud of her grandchildren, Haylee, Hudson and Greysen. She never missed an event, a game or a chance to spend time with them. Mammy as she was called showed them love no matter the situation!
Donna is survived by her son, Christian, his wife Trish, their children Haylee, Hudson Greysen, her brother William (Iria) and his children, Melissa, Jack, Andrew and Alexander. Donna had more friends than any one and she will be missed by every one of them.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the Sonoma Moose Lodge on April 21st @ Noon.
Any Donations in her name can be made to The Wounded Warrior Foundation
