Diane V. Ghilotti of Sonoma passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the age of 69.
Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother who took immense pride in her family. Her life was spent in service to her loved ones and others. Those fortunate enough to know Diane experienced her warmth and radiance, leaving a lasting impact on all she met. Her generosity and love will be her enduring legacy.
Diane was passionate about her work as an intake coordinator at Mountain Vista Farm in Glen Ellen, where she supported families and individuals seeking recovery from addiction. She brought both strength and compassion to this vital role.
In her free time, Diane cherished moments spent with loved ones, especially under a cabana with a good book on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
Diane is survived by her children, Danielle Ghilotti and son-in-law Ryan Crochiere, Jim Ghilotti and Diana Ghilotti, former spouse and mother to her grandchildren, James, Jacob, and Jackson Ghilotti; her sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Charles Whitney; her brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Marilyn Byrne; her beloved nieces, nephew, and their families; as well as her cat, Blitzen.
She is now reunited with her parents, Raymond and Olga Byrne.
A Rosary will be held at St. Francis Solano Church, 469 Third Street West, Sonoma, on Friday, January 10, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m.
