Amanda Peters, age 21, of Sonoma, was tragically taken from our world on July 26, 2022 after succumbing to injuries she sustained in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Amanda was born January 26, 2001 in Santa Rosa, CA, to Kirsten and Greg Peters.
After graduating from Creekside High School, Amanda began working at the Republic of Thrift. She loved her Republic of Thrift Family and her favorite customers.
A shining light in all the lives she touched. Amanda loved her family and friends fiercely, she always made sure that the people she loved knew it, always ready with a smile and one of her big bear hugs that we will all deeply miss.
Her sweet gentle soul also came with extreme strength and a tough stubborn side. Not only was she kind hearted and empathetic. She was also a ball of fire, and a crazy fun force to be reckoned with. Not one for fancy restaurants, Amanda loved simple "snacks and a party". Which were a frequent at Willie P's where her favorite Dr Pepper was always well stocked. Amanda loved going to Johnsons Beach in Guerneville every summer, camping, shooting her BB gun and hanging out with her family and friends. She treasured going to Disneyland with her mother and brother Jared. Amanda had a passion for collecting rocks, crystals and the beach where she collected shells. Amanda also loved Lilo and Stitch, her Stitch collection along with her cleaning products would rival the best. She also loved Scrapbooking, listening to music, and drawing. She had designed one of her own tattoos, a mandala, that she had been drawing most of her life (usually on herself).
Amanda's love of Virginia City, NV was evident in the sheer excitement and sparkle in her eye every time she arrived at her happiest place on earth.
Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Amanda is survived by her fur babies Benny and Calliope, mother Kirsten Peters, step dad Tony Wright, brother Jared (WingNut) Seelye, father Greg Peters, aunts Melissa Lloyd, Corinne Lloyd (Dave), Catrina Pulido.
