Roy Lynn Harriman

On Saturday, September 1, 2018 our beloved husband and father, Roy Lynn Harriman passed.

He was born on October 24th, 1943 at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco.  Roy graduated from Mission High School and soon enlisted in the US Navy.  He served his country for 20 years as a Torpedoman on various ships and different ports of call.  He then continued an additional 10 years in the Fleet Reserve.  He met his wife Carol in Hawaii and married in Colorado on February 7, 1969. 

He moved to Sonoma in 1982 after leaving the Navy.  His last job was working for Hanna Boys Center.  He had recently retired after working there for 20 years as a Nightwatchman and finally as the Infirmary Driver, which he enjoyed greatly. 

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Carol Harriman, nee Christopherson, his daughter Diane Forney and her husband David, and his two grandsons, Michael and Sean Forney.
