Our beloved Roger Stuart Dillman followed his father, Ed Dillman, to heaven on November 10th, 2017. Roger was born in Sonoma, California, on June 12th, 1954. He graduated from SVHS in 1972. He worked as a carpenter with his father, building and remodeling houses in Sonoma Valley. Roger’s passion was furniture building. He was a perfectionist with his woodworking, taking the time to craft things just right.

Although later in life Roger became disabled, he found freedom in the water, swimming where he could move happily unencumbered.

Roger was known for his witty sense of humor. His final words were, “Hasta la vista, Baby!”, which was just like him, joking until the end.

He is survived by his mother, Caroline; his three sisters, Susan, Nancy and Kelly; his brother-in-law, Mike Sevilla; and many other family members. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A combined Celebration of Life will be held in March 2018 for Roger and his father, who passed away October 17th, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roger's honor may be made to the fire victims fund at Redwood Credit Union. Please make checks payable to RCU Community Fund, and include "2017 North Bay Fire Relief" in the memo area, along with which county (or "All") you'd like to support. Mail to: P.O. Box 6104, Santa Rosa, CA 95406 or any RCU Branch.
