Martha Elizabeth (Auwers) Reece

A longtime Sonoma resident, died at home on June 14, 2017. Born in Flint, Michigan, to Cornealius Auwers and Lizzie Welch, Elizabeth was raised in Hayward, California, before moving to Sonoma in 1975.

She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her extended family.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Clay Reece, Sr. She is survived by sons Maxwell James Reece of Sonoma, Leonard Clay Reese, Jr. of San Anselmo, and Myron Gregory Reece of Glen Ellen; grandchildren Gordon James, Michael Eric, Judith Ann, and Mark Scott Reece; great-grandchildren Andrew, Colby, Sarah, Logan, and Donovan Reece, and Frank Forehand.
