Marie Santos Stevenson

Marie Santos Stevenson, passed peacefully away on Sunday, August 20, 20127, she was 86.   Marie was   born in Tracy California on October 22, 1930 to Salvador and Virginia Chicano.  She attended schools in Sebastopol and was a graduate of Analy High School, Class of 1948.  Soon after graduation she moved to Sonoma and there she married her High School sweetheart, Keith “Zeke” Stevenson.  She and Zeke raised their four children in Sonoma, a great wife and mother she enjoyed her family and family get togethers.  She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and growing and canning her own home grown vegetables.    She enjoyed all types of gardening flowers and vegetables. 

Marie worked at the Sonoma Grove Restaurant for 27 years as a waitress and was well loved by staff and customers alike, she was a favorite to many.   After the Grove sold she worked at the Wine Maker Restaurant before retiring.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Ken (Wilma) Stevenson, of Puyallup, Washington; Terry Stevenson, of Sonoma, CA; Lynnette Stevenson, of Petaluma, CA and Gary (Kathryn) Stevenson of Sammamish, Washington.  She is the loving grandmother of; Terry (Ashley) Stevenson, JR, Jeremy, Renee, Casey, Cody, Dwaine and Benjamin Stevenson, and Henry Fairley and by her 3 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Zeke.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Duggan’s Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma, Ca 95476, on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM.

Interment to follow at Valley Cemetery, 425 West Mac Arthur Street, Sonoma, Ca 95476.
