Lorene "Lorie" D. Ropp

“Lorie” Ropp Longtime “OG” Sonoma resident was born to Shirley Fransen & Step father Carl Fransen.  She loved her family and longtime friends including her AA family.  She loved this community. She had an infectious laugh & smile that could put a smile on anyone’s face & her laugh was one of a kind like her.  She will be more than missed but always remembered.

Lorie is survived by her daughter; Deanna Gere, her grandchildren; Danielle, Jeremiah and Jordan Gere, her first Great-granddaughter Stevie, her brother; Eric Fransen, her aunt; Margie Backman, and cousins; Steven Backman, Kathy and Megan Joyce, as well as many lifelong friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.  Please check back on this page for updates.
