Karen Marie Quackenbush, 38, of Sonoma unexpectedly passed away Saturday, November 25th, 2017, in Petaluma, California. She was born June 25th, 1979, in Sonoma, California, the daughter of Robert & Mary Quackenbush.

Karen graduated from Sonoma Valley High School, class of 1998. During her junior and senior years of high school, she began working her way up the ladder to become a successful Mortgage Processor. With over 20 years of experience in her profession, she was hard-working and very dedicated to her employer, Partners Credit and Verification Solutions.

Of all titles Karen has held, being a mother was what made her most proud. Her pride and joy were her two beloved daughters, Sofia and Katie. Words cannot even describe the love she had for her girls; her world revolved around them. Karen was an incredible person, she was kind, caring, and funny. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and always made sure she had her camera out to capture all the precious memories and moments!

She is survived by her two children, Sofia & Katie Gaytan-Quackenbush; her father and mother, Robert & Mary Quackenbush; her brother, Shawn Quackenbush; and sisters Kathryn Reardon-Quackenbush and Stephanie Quackenbush; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by so many.
