Joan A. Miles

Joan A. Miles passed away peacefully in Sonoma, California on December 2, 2018 at the age of 88 years.  Joan was preceded in death by her husband's James J O'Hare, Edward Miles, Larry Kelly, her brother Carl J. Rieman, and sister Norma Gallahan.  She is survived by her children Michael O'Hare (Karen), Jan Mandrell (Robert), Patrick O'Hare (Denise), Marta Hutton (Mark) Timothy O'Hare (Vicki), Nancy White, and Tina Carey (William).  She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Joan was a wonderful woman, and a warm and giving person with an ever-ready spirit.  She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and friend and will be greatly missed by all, but especially by her family.

The family wishes to express gratitude to her dedicated caregivers and supportive friends.  She will now join our Dad Jim and be at peace.  We love you Mom.

Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 8:00 A.M. at Star of the Valley Catholic Church, 545 White Oak Drive , Santa Rosa (Oakmont). In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice by the Bay.
