Born into a Navy family in Bremerton, WA, she was raised in California and attended
George Washington High School, SF and Stanford University. She was a leader in
many ways: High School Debate, Swim Team, and GSS, Girl Scouts, Stanford Honor
Society, and Tri Delta Sorority Alumnae President.
In the Presbyterian Church she was a Deacon, Elder, Clerk of Session,
Presbyterial President, delegate to Presbytery, and Cameron House Board and Guild member.
A working mom (Davis & Dunn Realty, SF Plumbing and Mechanical Association),
she was never too busy to fill the car with her kids and their friends and drive them to
events. She drove the family on multiple car trips throughout the United States
camping, swimming in motel pools, and visiting family, historic places, national parks,
and other fun spots. They were very special times for us all. Living close to her parents
made for many wonderful dinner visits with Grandmother and Granddaddy for us as kids.
She modeled for a couple of Hollywood agencies. She loved the mountains of the
Cascades, Rockies, and Sierra Nevada, especially Fallen Leaf Lake and Yosemite.
She is survived by daughter, Susan Ulrich-Angell, sons, Barry Ulrich, Jr. (Karin) and Bob
Holsinger (Colleen), 8 grandchildren, and 2 great granddaughters.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church,
Saturday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m.
