Gene Redemer

Henry Eugene Redemer, known as Gene, passed away on September 25, 2018, at his home with his family by his side. Gene was born in Dinuba, CA November 14, 1929. A school teacher for 28 years, he taught two years in Fresno, CA before moving to San Francisco, where he taught elementary school with a concentration in special education. He was also a local real estate agent in Sonoma for many years. 

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara; daughter Donna, son David, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Before college, Gene was in the US Army for two years, stationed at Fort Lewis, WA.  He had a great love of mountains, redwood trees, studying the weather, and philosophy.
