Born to Salvatore and Francesca Cricchio in San Francisco, CA on August 10, 1930. She went to be with the lord on July 22, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred E. DeSantis and her siblings Rosalie Guerrini and Joseph Cricchio.  She grew up in North Beach and then in 1964 the family moved to the Marina District where she lived until moving to Sonoma in 2001. She loved her city by the bay and enjoyed going out to dinner and taking long walks with family and friends throughout her whole life.  Spending time with grandchildren in Sonoma was a passion she cherished for life.

Many family members called her “Tillie”, a loving nickname she obtained at an early age. She will be eternally remembered by many for her kindness and gentle nature. She will be missed by her daughter Gail Petersen-Macaluso (Rich); grandchildren Nicola and Blake; her many nieces and nephews; and all of her family members who she greatly adored.

Friends are invited to attend visitation, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa Street, Sonoma.  A Vigil Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.   A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church, 469 Third St. West, Sonoma, CA 95476.  Interment will be at Valley City Cemetery, Sonoma, CA.
