Earl Thomas Carmichael

Earl Carmichael born June 19, 1938, to Earl L. and Mary McIntyre Carmichael, in San Francisco, California.  He passed away August 29, 2017 in Sonoma, California. He was a resident of Sonoma, CA for 44 years.  A graduate of Serra High School in San Mateo, the University of San Francisco, and the University of California, Berkeley, Earl was employed by PG&E as a mathematician/programmer for 30 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Carolyne Nunan Carmichael, his children Catherine Buffy (Stephen), Lesley Cannariato (Kevin) of Sonoma and Owen Carmichael (Cathy) of Baton Rouge, LA.  He is the grandfather of five:  Sam and Claire Cannariato, Keira, Paul, and Phillip Carmichael.  He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his brother John F. Carmichael (Susan) of Redwood City, CA.  He is brother-in-law to Dennis and Joanne Nunan, Mary and Keith Petersen, Diana Chan-Nunan, Laura Maloney.  He leaves many nieces and nephews.
