Bobbie Lee McRice

Born in Alameda, Bobbie Lee found her home, and love, for her community in the city of Sonoma. Working for the local school district from 1998 to 2013, she was helpful, honest and loyal. Caring and straightforward, she was always counted on to give smiles and laughter when truly needed. When asked of her favorite color, her response was, “Rainbow”; she found joy spending time with family at Disneyland. Though the happiest place on earth was only second to spending her life with the people of this city.
Treating everyone as family, she continued to hold a positive presence in her community as she started working at Off Broadway Cleaners in June of 2013. Humble in service, though deeply grateful for love, Bobbie truly cherished the reciprocal adoration her service brought. Nightly she showered those at home with stories of touching moments from her day at the school, or gracious gestures from customers at the cleaners. 
Bobbie left this world on Wednesday, April 10th 2019, with a deep understanding and appreciation of the love she collected over the years. She leaves behind her daughter Jacquilynn (27), son Travis (24), niece Carla (41), along with her great-neices Deanna (18), Antonia (12), Audreyana (10), and Arlynn (7). To those who had a connection with Bobbie, her family wishes to extend their upmost gratitude to the remarkable love and kindness offered at their time of need.
