William Michael Harmon, Jr.

William Michael Harmon, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Endrienne Harmon, his sister, Sharon, and his daughter Rebecca Lynn Baca.  He is survived by his daughter Dina Ann Holm and four grandchildren: Tyler, Kai, Steve and Jason.

Mike was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 27, 1938.  The family relocated to Northern California.  After he graduated from Jefferson High School, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, where he served his country.

After Mike was discharged from the military, he returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he went to trade school and became a Steam Fitter for San Francisco Local 38, working there for 40 years.

Mike raised his family in San Mateo, California, till the mid-‘80s and then relocated to Sonoma, where he resided till his death.

Mike was a dedicated father to his daughters.  He was a doting grandfather who pressed upon, and provided for them, the value of a solid education as well as a strong work ethic and unwavering integrity.

Mike had a real zest for life!  He enjoyed his horses and his pets.  His true passion was for the game of golf and spending time with his golf buddies.

Mike was the rock of his family who, with his strength and love, set a high example for them to emulate.

Mike will be forever missed as he lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him.
