Vicky Scarbrough passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2017, at Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Vicky was born in Houston, Texas, as Vicky June Miller on January 29, 1947. She graduated from Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA, in 1965 and attended Chico State University. Vicky was a flight attendant for United Airlines until her retirement in 1998. She was also an active member in the Trinity Episcopal Church and many local groups, such as Coping With Cancer and Clipped Wings.
Beloved wife to Leon for over thirty years. Loving mother to Beau Cash Scarbrough and Daniel Cash, and loving stepmother to Jennifer (Devan) Forsyth, Brad (Anna) Scarbrough, and Erinn (Chris) Candelario. Devoted “Nana” to seven grandchildren. Vicky is also survived by her two sisters, Michele Tolley (Jim) and Terri Pelekoudas (Lee). She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerel Cash, and her parents, Wilbur “Noel” Miller and Dorothy “Marie” (Utley) Miller.
Vicky will always be remembered for her bright smile, her love of sunflowers, and her generous heart. A celebration of Vicky’s life will be held on January 19th at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 275 East Spain Street, Sonoma. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your favorite charity in Vicky’s name.
