Lynelle Yvonne Ritz was called home on April 7th, 2018, while being surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 28th, 1959, in Sonoma, Calif., to Cecil W. Ritz (deceased) and Theresa E. Ritz. She is survived by her partner, Robert Evans; her two children, Brian G. Kucharski and Rachel N. Dawson and husband John Dawson; her three grandsons, Blake C. Ritz, Koen G. Kucharski, and Carter D. Dawson; brother Aldo Ritz; sister Kelly Sisneroz and her husband, Sam Sisneroz; nephew Zachary Hardister; and nieces Selena Sisneroz, Christina Sisneroz, Alisha Ritz, and Natalie Dyer and husband R.J. Dyer.
Lynelle's life was filled with adventure and love with those in her life closest to her. She was a child of God, a charitable woman and a friend to those in need; she was the kind of woman to give you the shirt off her back and never ask for anything in return. She was an avid collector of antiques but really anything that caught her eye, and she loved hunting for rocks anywhere she could, just to find out what might be inside of them -- something she passed onto her grandchildren.
It’s hard to sum up a person’s legacy in only a few words, but she was a such a good server to the people around her, always trying to help people, and she will be greatly missed by all. Her quick wit and spark will endure in every life that she has touched. We are happy to report that she is finally home and reunited with her family and friends that she missed so much.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 170 Andrieux St., Sonoma, Calif. We ask that in lieu of flowers, overtip someone who gave you great service the next time you go out and bring an unexpected smile to someone’s day. Lynelle will greatly appreciate that.
