Lucy Valletta was born in Jerome, Arizona, to wonderful parents Mary and Joe Roybal. They had five daughters and one son.
Mom had four children, Steve, Toni, Lou, and Gina, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Mom was beautiful inside and out. Everyone would always say “What a stunner!”
“Your eyes are the windows of your soul.” When you looked into Mom's eyes, you could see the kindness and the loving person that she was. Her great sense of humor was joyful and playful. Her son Steve would make wine from her vineyard, which made her very proud.
Her many passions were traveling, books, plays, and her love for baking. Oh yes, she loved Frank (“Old Blue Eyes”). Her grandsons played Frank Sinatra music at her bedside and she would smile and move her feet to the songs. Mom loved to dance.
God has you now, Mom, and we know you are filled with joy, peace, and happiness.
Love you, Mom
