Heinz Friedrich Bertram

Heinz Bertram, our Papa, was a lover of life and all its bounty.  More than anything, he enjoyed good wine, good food, and good company, preferably all together.  He loved nature’s blooms, the quiet noise of the forest, and poetry.  He loved an old Mercedes Benz.  He loved making things, and a cold German lager on a hot summer day after laying flagstones.  He loved his children and his grandchildren.  And he loved his home town, Imsen.  Heinz Bertram, our Papa, will be missed.  If you knew him, if you loved him, please raise a glass in his memory.
