Florence Ann Reyes

Florence “Ann” Reyes was born on July 11th, 1953, in Louisiana, to Freddie and Jane Guillory. Ann is one of five children. She lived most of her life in San Francisco. About four years ago, Ann moved to Petaluma to be closer to her daughter, and grandchildren. Ann met Louis Rice, in her mid-to-late 20’s, and through this union they had three children. She worked for the U.S. Attorney’s office, as a Management Analyst, for thirty three years. She then retired early, and chose to work as a bartender for many years, a job she enjoyed. When she moved to Petaluma, she retired completely. Ann had many interests. She enjoyed gardening in her free time, and her granddaughter, Addy, loved to help her with the watering. She was very excited to be growing tomato plants. Ann loved to decorate for all holidays, and her grandkids liked going over to grandma’s house to see them. Her granddaughter, Aria, especially loved to play with all of the decorations. Ann also took great joy in her cat, Sanka, which was originally intended to be for her Fiancé, Chris, but quickly became hers instead.

 Ann passed away on July 7th, 2017, in Sonoma, California. Ann leaves behind her daughter, Nicole MacQuarrie, and son-in-law Nicholas MacQuarrie; sons, Nicholas, and Nathan; grandchildren, Hannah, Mackenzie, Raelynn, Addyson, Aria, and Levi; mother, Jane Guillory; brother, Frederick Guillory; sisters, Ida, Cynthia, and Laura; fiancée Chris De Losada; as well as aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Ann is preceded in death by her father, Freddie Guillory.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, July 14th, 2017 at 11 am, at Duggan’s Mission Chapel.
