I was a patient of his some 25 years ago. Dr. Munford taught me a great deal about how to face my fears and regain control in my life. At the age of seven that was an incredibly impactful lesson I will never forget. My experience with him inspired me to pursue my own career in mental health and today I treat patients of my own. To his friends and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss but by the same token, my sincerest of thank yous for him not only guiding me in a very dark time in my life but also for being an inspiration that I can one day do the same.
