I had known Dave since college, roomed with him at Bell Labs, and visited him many, many times in NYC.
Dave was a deeply spiritual person, but also pragmatic.
He was a creative, clear & independent thinker--not withstanding his wonderful sense of humor.
Though I had not seen Dave over the past 2 decades, I have missed him and thought of him frequently.
Dave was truly unique and gifted in many ways. I will always keep him in my heart.
