Consuelo H. Westbrook, age 87, passed away on October 27, 2017.  She was born on January 17, 1930, in San Francisco, California.

The most important thing to Connie was her family.  She loved to spend time with her brother, sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She spent weekends cheering on her grandchildren.  She loved watching them play football, basketball, baseball and soccer….she never missed a game.   “Nana” loved caring for her grandchildren and would spent time playing cards and board games with them.

My mom was known for her cooking; thanks to her, I’m a good cook, too!  She loved to play the piano and enjoyed doing word puzzles and watching tennis as well. Yellow roses are symbolic of friendship, joy and happiness, so it’s no wonder they were her favorite flower.

Connie was survived by her loving sisters, Lucy (Witters) and Shirley (Thompson); her beloved children, Jeff and Sharon; her loving son-in-law, Dennis; and her adoring grandchildren, Gregory, Jesse, Taylor, Camille, Alexandra and Amaris.

My mom was so loved and will be forever in our hearts. I miss her dearly but I do know this….she has a FASTRAK to heaven. She is my guiding Angel.

Love you always. Your bright light will forever shine on us.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Francis Solano Church, 469 Third Street, West Sonoma, on Saturday, November 18th, at 10:30 a.m.  A reception will follow immediately at the home of Dennis and Sharon, 729 E. MacArthur Street, Sonoma.
