Catherine L. (Weyl) Torzilli

Cathy Torzilli passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 after a nearly three-year battle with lung cancer. A third generation Sonoman, Cathy was born April 28, 1954. In her youth, Cathy spent a lot of her time riding horseback through the valley hills. She continued to enjoy the outdoors throughout her life whether it be camping with the family semi-annually at Eagle Lake, catching a NASCAR race at Sears Point or a Sprint Car race at Petaluma or Calistoga Speedway!

Her mother and father, Beverly and Bill Weyl Sr. and husband Alfred 'Buddy' Torzilli, preceded Cathy in death. Cathy is survived by her brother Bill (Laurie) Weyl, daughters Stacy (Joe) Buratto and Dana (Jesus) Bravo, son Richard Torzilli (Katie Surles, DaphneAnn), step-son Al Torzilli. grandchildren Kyle (Breann), Kaleb, and William Kole Buratto, and Riley Torzilli. In addition to her immediate family, she also leaves behind a large extended family.

We would also like to thank Hospice of Petaluma, and especially her caregiver Bianca Mata for her exceptional patience and care.

A public memorial service will take place on Friday March 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel in Sonoma with private inurnment at Mountain Cemetery to take place at a later date.
